LandSheriffs meet the demands of our clients by offering a completely bespoke security service with flexible combinations of security packages including

Mobile Patrols
The 'keystone' of the LandSheriffs security service. We provide an industry leading Mobile Patrol that visit and patrol customer sites, a 24/7 service that thoroughly checks at random intervals, covering 100s of miles and assets per shift.

LandSheriffs also offer the industry pioneering LiveLog service, using Blackberry mobile communications we have instant, up-to-the minute patrol information sent to LandSheriffs Head Office. We also forward these logs to our clients in-part, covering an incident or in full, if required.

Our guards are trained to approach all situations proactively not just to observe and call the Police, to assess situations professionally analyse, challenge and to apprehend.

Covert & Surveillance
One of our more unique services, our Special Ops teams are trained to the highest level and come from a military background.

These teams can be dispatched very quickly and provide minute-to-minute updates on any situation, provide photographic evidence, if required, and liaise with onsite security teams or BTP & Home Office Forces.

Working alongside our fleet of overt vehicles, which carry full lights & livery in order to maintain a high profile, visual deterrent and provide constant reassurance for the traveling public, we also run a small fleet of covert vehicles.

Utilising vehicles very similar to the means of transport of suspected criminals, including builder’s trucks, 4x4s, vans and older registered vehicles, teams undertake late night & early morning recognisance. This empowers us to carry out surveillance and monitoring of any suspicious activity without alerting anyone to our presence.
 
We cannot be specific in how these units are deployed and operated, but they are an extremely effective tool in our fight against criminal activity inflicted on our client’s infrastructure and property. As a plain unmarked Police traffic car makes over 78% more speeding convictions than a fully marked car on the same stretch of road, we have discovered the same to be true.

Static Guarding
Offered as a support element to our Mobile Patrol we can provide a manned static and CCTV security utilising customer facilities or in our own branded static base stations. This includes a 24 hour Control Room including a comprehensive key holding service.

LandSheriffs have established a dedicated Static Security Team for NR (CTRL) HS1 at Singlewell Infrastructure Maintenance Depot (SIMD) in Kent, a recently developed, multi million pound infrastructure maintenance depot for the HS1 Network. These highly skilled teams are trained to the highest standards and control state of the art CCTV equipment with Automatic Vehicle Number Plate Recognition technology.

S.I.M.D. Static Teams are responsible for the security and protection of millions of pounds worth of equipment & stores and over 150 staff that work at the depot 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Overseeing the arrival and departure of staff, visitors and external contractors, these teams keep track of 100s of people entering & leaving the premises. Working with LandSheriffs Mobile & Special Operations Teams the Static Guards Teams are an integral part of security projects on the HS1 Network.

LandSheriffs Static Guards are dedicated & proactive individuals, ensuring that everyone who works at, or visits, the Depot are safe and can go about their business in the knowledge that they face no threat to their personal safety and security.

Foot Patrols

At LandSheriffs we pride ourselves on our ‘hands on’ approach to your security, which includes extensive & thorough foot patrols and physical checks of your infrastructure and assets on a random bases.

Working with NR (CTRL) HS1 has required teams to walk many hundreds of kilometres, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and in all weathers, this has ensured the safety and security of the infrastructure which is unreachable by vehicle. Combined with our Helicopter, Security Train and Mobile Patrols LandSheriffs have been able to supply a complete ‘eyes on’ security solution for NR (CTRL) HS1.

Conducting Foot Patrols enables teams to maintain good housekeeping, dealing with and preventing unsociable behaviour, graffiti, vandalism, etc. It is also an ideal opportunity to establish strong relationships with local residents and businesses close to patrol areas, this has lead to very useful information being collected and passed on to teams.

LandSheriffs Foot Patrols have also helped local residents with advice and assistance as NR (CTRL) HS1 representatives, any issues or concerns are recorded and passed on to the relevant parties.
